Here you can find a full list of sarcoma subtypes.
There are new subtypes of sarcoma that we are learning about every day.
We’re also regularly updating our information, so if you don’t see information about a subtype of sarcoma yet, revisit this page at a later date to check if any more types have been added.
Can’t see your subtype here? While some types of cancer have sarcoma in their name (e.g. histiocytic sarcoma, carcinosarcoma, and gliosarcoma), these tumours don’t behave in the same way as sarcomas. These cancers are treated by the teams specialising in the site on the body that they are present, rather than sarcoma teams.
For more information, you can call our friendly team of expert nurses on the Sarcoma UK Support Line, who will try to answer any questions you may have.
