The sarcoma community came together at 10 Downing Street on Monday evening to attend Sarcoma UK’s inaugural Shining Star awards.
Opera singer Mark Llewelyn Evans was the awards host. Awards presenters included Sarcoma UK Celebrity Ambassador TommyInnit, BBC journalist Zoe Conway and Minister of Health and Secondary Care Andrew Stephenson MP.
Sarcoma UK’s Chief Executive, Richard Davidson, said: ‘It was a brilliant, uplifting magical night with so many of our amazing supporters. Those present heard some incredibly inspiring stories about those who have played their part in the success of Sarcoma UK.’
