Sarcoma can appear anywhere in the body and often presents subtly on scans. For every 1cm increase in tumour size at diagnosis, there is a 3-5% decrease in the chance of cure. Your interpretation can make a life-saving difference.

Sarcoma Awareness Month 2025
We promote Sarcoma Awareness Month every year in July, to raise awareness of sarcoma and the importance of early diagnosis.
For 2025, we are focusing on healthcare professionals – the people best placed to spot the early signs of sarcoma. From GPs and physiotherapists to radiologists and AHPs, we’re sharing practical guidance, training resources and real stories from peers working with sarcoma.
