Every scan tells a story
Sarcoma is rare and often subtle on imaging. Up to 25% of sarcoma are initially misdiagnosed.
As a radiologist, your expertise in imaging is essential to early sarcoma diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
Sarcoma can appear anywhere in the body and often presents subtly on scans. For every 1cm increase in tumour size at diagnosis, there is a 3-5% decrease in the chance of cure. Your interpretation can make a life-saving difference.
