Geeta was diagnosed with alveolar soft part sarcoma in 2020 at age 25. She was a major part of our Sarcoma Awareness Month campaign which reached over 5 million people in July.

Kirsty Smitten

Pioneering biochemist Kirsty developed a revolutionary strain of antibiotics. She lived with cardiac angiosarcoma, a ‘one in 20 million’ cancer, raising awareness through her blog and social media channels.

Kirsty sadly died in October 2023. She will never be forgotten.

YouTube gaming sensation, TommyInnit, became a Celebrity Ambassador for Sarcoma UK in memory of his friend, Technoblade. Tommy made millions of his fans aware for the first time of sarcoma cancer.
