Urgent Appeal for support

Thank you for supporting our charity through our Urgent Appeal

Unlike more common cancers, sarcoma has not received the same level of research investment or public awareness. In the 70s’, cancers like breast and prostate cancer had survival rates similar to sarcoma. With sustained investment and greater attention, those cancers have seen major improvements over time. Sarcoma has not benefitted from that same level of focus and we still need your help to go further.

Help us continue to be there for families like Eva’s.

The encouraging news is that with your support over the last 10 years, progress is starting to show. New data indicates that five-year survival for sarcoma has improved from 55% to 61%. This reflects better diagnosis, growing awareness and advances in treatment. Supporters like you play a real part in helping this progress continue.

Without increased funding, it will become harder to keep pace with rising demand and maintain the services so many depend on. People rely on the charity not only for information but for reassurance, clarity and a place to turn when they feel overwhelmed.

With no government funding or support from larger cancer organisations, our charity relies entirely on voluntary donations.

Your donation will help Sarcoma UK continue to provide trusted support and drive forward research that offers hope for the future.

If you have any questions about this appeal, please contact our Fundraising team on fundraising@sarcoma.org.uk or call 0207 856 0445. We are here to help.
