Sarcoma UK’s Carol Concert was held at St Giles-in-the-Field (known as the Poets’ Church) in central London on Monday.
Hosted by opera singer Mark Llewelyn Evans, there were performances from award-winning soprano Ellen Williams, West End star Caroline Sheen, vocal group Enchorus, “medic with the voice of an angel” Dr Bambang Atmaja, actors Sandra Dickinson and Mark Osmond, and the Reading Spring Gardens Brass Band.
In addition, former professional footballer Nick Anderton spoke about his experience with sarcoma, which ended his football career aged 26.
Sarcoma UK Chief Executive, Richard Davidson, said: “Our annual carol concert is a well-loved part of the festive season with a chance for the sarcoma community to meet old friends and make new ones. It was a lovely night with wonderful performances in a beautiful setting.”
