‘I could hear his laugh all night.’
Today would have been comedian Phil Jerrod’s 44th birthday. Phil died of spindle call sarcoma in September 2021 and one year later, a group of his friends held a night of outstanding comedy in support of Sarcoma UK. The event raised over £26,000 to support our work.
‘I am overwhelmed by the amount of money we have raised for Sarcoma UK in his memory’ says Phil’s wife, Beck. “Phil had wanted to do this gig so much, to thank everyone for supporting him and to help raise vital funds and awareness for Sarcoma UK.”
Thank you to Beck, Off the Kerb, the glorious comedians and everyone who turned out on the night.
Phil’s family and friends have also set up a Group Fund. ‘He talked so much about having a legacy and for people to remember his name for something good’.
