Phyllodes are a rare type of tumour found in the breast. They are sometimes referred to as cytosarcoma or cytosarcoma phyllodes.

Phyllodes can occur in both men and women, but most commonly affect pre-menopausal woman over the age of 40. They often look like other tumours making them difficult to diagnose. They are treated using surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and hormone therapy.
