Ways you can volunteer
We have two different roles at our Rare but Real Walks:
Event Village Volunteer:
• You’ll be welcoming and registering our walkers in the event village.
• You’ll be at the finish line celebrating, handing out medals and goodie bags.
• You’ll be ensuring the start and finish area is clear of litter and rubbish.
• You’ll be a friendly face when people arrive and leave.
Route Marshall Volunteer:
• You’ll be directing and cheering-on our walkers along the route.
• You’ll have a high-vis and be on the course at a specific point and will be there until the tail walkers go past.
• You may also be asked to be a part of our children’s scavenger hunt.
• You’ll be partnered up with someone so you can both give a big cheer when the walkers go past.
