The friends and family of Gaz Emmerson invite you to take on this incredible 24-hour challenge in his memory.
Gaz was a one of a kind, once in a lifetime character, who was heavily involved with Sarcoma UK since 2020, after his initial diagnosis of Ewing sarcoma in 2014, and relapsing in 2016. It was always Gaz’s intention to complete the Three Peaks Challenge for Sarcoma UK in the summer of 2022, however his health did not allow for this, and he sadly died in August 2022.
In 2023, Team Sarcoma will be lacing up their hiking boots and making 3 huge ascents, as they complete this phenomenal challenge in his memory.
Start in Scotland where you’ll climb the peak of Ben Nevis, before moving on to Scafell Pike in the Lake District, and finally travelling down to Wales where you’ll complete your final challenge by climbing Mount Snowdon.
