In memory of Sayako Grace Robinson, Sarcoma UK launched an annual award of a PhD studentship in sarcoma basic science.
Sayako was born in 1987 in Cambridge to a Japanese mother and English-American father and was a citizen of the UK, USA and Japan.
Every year, Sarcoma UK awards one PhD studentship research project the Sayako Grace Robinson PhD Studentship. The scheme is now in its sixth year. Read more about each project below.
