The sarcoma community came together at Mansion House in London on Tuesday evening for Sarcoma UK’s 2024 Shining Star awards.
Loose Women’s Charlene White was the awards host. Awards presenters included celebrity ambassadors Angela Barnes, Sandra Dickinson and Mark Osmond as well as Alderman Alison Gowman.
The winners included YouTube creator, TommyInnit; former Chancellor, the Rt. Hon. Jeremy Hunt MP; and inspirational members of the community including Darrell McDonald, winner of the Roger Wilson Inspiration of the Year award.
Sarcoma UK’s Chief Executive, Richard Davidson, said: ‘It was brilliant to see so many of our amazing supporters together in such a historic location. We heard so many inspiring stories about those who have helped Sarcoma UK grow and flourish.’
