What is the Cuppa & Cake event?
The Cuppa & Cake event is Sarcoma UK’s nationwide fundraising event, held between 1 July and 30 September. It sees Sarcoma UK supporters get together in gardens, homes, schools and workplaces to raise funds to support sarcoma research, information, awareness programmes and most importantly, have fun!
It’s completely up to you on what your event will be! You could hold a coffee morning, cake sale, baking competition, summer garden party – any event you like!
How do I collect donations?
We recommend setting up an online giving page through JustGiving, it’s super easy! Go to justgiving.com/cuppa-cake to set up your page linked to the Cuppa & Cake event. Adding pictures and text about why you’ve chosen our charity and details about your Cuppa
& Cake event helps to raise awareness and boost your fundraising.
An online giving page also means that anyone can donate and support your event even if they are unable to attend. You will also be able to claim Gift Aid on donations made through JustGiving.
I don’t like raising funds online, can I collect cash donations instead?
No problem at all! Inside our Cuppa & Cake pack, we have included a cardboard collection box that you can use, if you need extras just let us know. After your event remember to send us your
collections through our website at sarcoma.org.uk/donate and include a comment so we
know this donation came from your Cuppa & Cake fundraising.
How can I make my event stand out?
We have a whole pack of digital and physical materials available to help you promote your event!
