Host a Cuppa & Cake for Sarcoma UK!
Did you know that September is THE month for coffee mornings?
And we would love for you to consider hosting your own for Sarcoma UK this September.
By hosting your own coffee morning, or as we prefer to call it at Sarcoma UK, a Cuppa & Cake event, you will be helping us to raise money and awareness for this rare cancer, and make a difference to those affected by sarcoma.
Cuppa & Cake 2025
When: Between 21st – 28th September 2025. Don’t worry if these dates don’t work for you, just choose a date that does.
Where: Your home, workplace, school or even a local community venue.
Who: Invite your family, friends, colleagues or local community to attend.
How: We have put together a handy check list, along with lots more resources, to help you host an incredible Cuppa & Cake event. Just complete the form at the bottom of this page and we will send you everything you need to host a successful Cuppa & Cake event.
Why: When you host a Cuppa & Cake event you are making a difference for those affected by sarcoma. The money raised goes toward funding important research, campaigning to make changes, supporting those affected by sarcoma and enables us to continue raising awareness.
How do I collect donations?
We recommend setting up your Cuppa & Cake fundraiser through JustGiving. Adding pictures and text about why you’ve chosen our charity and details about your Cuppa & Cake helps to raise awareness and boost your fundraising.
An online giving page also means that your friends, family and colleagues can support your fundraiser even if they can’t make it on the day. All money raised through JustGiving comes directly to Sarcoma UK, hassle free.
Can I collect cash donations?
Absolutely! Our physical Cuppa & Cake packs have cardboard collection boxes included to make handling cash a ‘piece of cake’. If you need extras for your event please do reach out to our fundraising team.
After your event, you can send these funds to the charity via cheque, bank transfer or via our website donation form. Please feel free to contact the fundraising team via email: fundraising@sarcoma.org.uk or telephone: 0207 856 0445 for further instruction.
What materials are available?
We have a whole pack of digital materials available to help you promote your event – fill out the form at the bottom of this page to receive yours!
We would also be happy to send you a physical Cuppa & Cake pack, which includes both Cuppa & Cake and Sarcoma UK branded items. We will post the resources you need to you, once you have your Cuppa & Cake event confirmed – just make sure you let us know as soon as you have done this, to ensure as much time as possible to post the resources to you!

Christine’s Cuppa & Cake
Our fabulous supporter Christine has held, not one, not two, but multiple Cuppa & Cake events for Sarcoma UK, raising thousands of pounds and huge amounts of awareness.
Christine has been a loyal support of the charity for many years and hosts her Cuppa & Cake events in memory of her daughter Hannah, who died at the age of 29, within 9 months of her sarcoma diagnosis.
Christine and Hannah’s friends have put together many fantastic Cuppa & Cake events, full of fantastic fun for all to enjoy. Their events include delicious hot pork rolls, ice cream, hook a duck, bottle in a bag, a colouring competition, children’s entertainers and of course plenty of cuppas and cakes!
Ann’s Cuppa & Cake
Ann is another dedicated supporter of Sarcoma UK and our Cuppa & Cake events, she recently held her third Cuppa & Cake event.
Ann is currently undergoing sarcoma treatment, and is determined to help others and raise awareness of sarcoma cancers.
Ann’s Cuppa & Cake events are always jam packed with brilliant activities throughout the day. One year there was even the chance to win a helicopter flight over Dover Castle and the White Cliffs of Dover! What an incredible prize!
Gavin’s Cuppa & Cake
Gavin is a long time supporter of Sarcoma UK. He has taken part in many running challenges, and in 2023 decided to host a Cuppa & Cake event called The Ryan ‘Eddie’ Edwards Celebration Day at Broomfield Football Club.
Gavin is held his event in memory of his friend Ryan, who died in August 2019 from synovial sarcoma. Gavin describes Ryan as the “bravest and most courageous bloke” and honoured his memory with a brilliant family Cuppa & Cake day. There was plenty of fun for all the family including bouncy castles, football and mountains of cake.
