Chris Copland acts as a patient advocate in memory of his daughter, Bethan, who died of Ewing sarcoma.

He has been a representative at the National Cancer Research Institute and the ACCELERATE platform. He is also active in the Euro-Ewing Consortium and as a CRUK Campaigns Ambassador.

Chris recently retired from the University of York.
