Darren has a background in Biological Sciences and Teaching and after 10-ish years in the Education and Education Charity sectors it was time to bundle the skill sets and work for a medical based charity.
Science, teaching and supporting others (and IT) have been common themes across various jobs and roles, so coming to work with the amazing team at Sarcoma UK was an ideal step away from the classroom to get more involved in the charity world.
Outside of supporting the Ops team, Darren enjoys all things Sci-Fi and Fantasy.
