Policy and Public Affairs Officer
Eleanor’s role is focused on advancing Sarcoma UK’s policy goals through research and advocacy, all of which is informed by patient and clinician experience. Currently, policy focuses are on early diagnosis and treatment, access to best possible care for all patients and securing better mental health support for patients during and after treatment.
Eleanor’s background is in external affairs in women’s reproductive healthcare, prior to which she worked in social research with a wide range of clients across the public sector. She also worked in policy and fundraising for homelessness organisations while studying for her undergraduate degree in English Literature and Master’s Degree in Politics and Research Methods.
In her spare time, when not spending time with her friends and family, she enjoys cooking, life drawing and reading.
