Research Officer
Emily joined Sarcoma UK in April 2024. Her role involves the day-to-day management of our research programme. This includes running our funding rounds and maintaining our portfolio of research projects, as well as supporting patient involvement and communicating sarcoma research progress and impact.
She has a particular interest in cancer biology and how improving understanding of cancer pathways in the laboratory can be translated into better diagnosis and development of new treatments to improve patient outcomes. Prior to joining Sarcoma UK, she completed a master’s degree in Cancer Genomics at the Barts Cancer Institute.
In her spare time, Emily enjoys exploring London’s green spaces, cooking and playing/watching tennis.
