Russ is currently a Partner at Hall & Partners, one of the UK's leading Brand Strategy consultancies. His role involves carrying out primary research with consumers, patients and healthcare professionals, as well as senior business stakeholders and experts, using insight developed from this research to inform business and brand strategy decision making. Russ has spent the last 10 years in similar roles across a number of agencies, and prior to working in industry, he completed a PhD in Applied Linguistics - understanding the nuance of what people mean when they they give opinions.
Russ has a very personal experience of sarcoma, having had an osteosarcoma removed from his leg when he was in his 20s. He was diagnosed after breaking his leg, and treated with a partial excision of my left fibula. Russ has been fortunate to have had no further treatment and no on-going side effects over the last 15 years.
Outside of work Russ lives in East Sussex with his wife and two young daughters and when time permits is a keen runner.
