Between now and 22 April, we'll be introducing you to Bec and the other members of #TeamSarcoma running the Virgin Money London Marathon. Bec is one of 68 champions (so far) who, by pounding the streets, will help Sarcoma UK being aboutabout enormous change to the lives of sarcoma patients, their friends and families.

Zoe Conway and Baroness Liz Sugg organised a hugely memorable quiz night in memory of Chris, who was Principal Private Secretary to the then Prime Minister, David Cameron, with the proceeds going to Sarcoma UK. Family, friends and colleagues gathered to take part but also to remember Chris.

Olaratumab (commercially known as Lartruvo) has been approved in Scotland for people with a soft tissue sarcoma that has spread and can’t be treated with surgery or radiotherapy.

"This is a real good news story for people living with soft tissue sarcoma in Scotland", says Lindsey Bennister.

Papercut artist Chop Pop is generously donating all proceeds from the sale of 196 posterboards to Carey’s Campaign, in memory of Carey Lander, the keyboardist with Camera Obscura, who passed away from osteosarcoma in 2015.

Dr Robin Young and his team at the University of Sheffield want to find out if a simple blood sample before a scan could help tell us if a sarcoma has started to spread or that someone was at high risk of their sarcoma spreading.
