It’s three years since Sarcoma UK launched the Support Line and in that time the team have given timely help and advice to 1,500 people affected by sarcoma. Helan and Sam from the Support Line team look back on the first three years and how the service has impacted the charity and beyond.
A major new piece of research at University College London will bring together 35 scientific experts from across the UK to investigate approximately 1,000 genetic sarcoma samples collected from the Government’s 100,000 Genomes Project.
Part of our remit is to put together information about sarcoma that you can trust. To that end, we’ve launched three new resources with up-to-date, accurate information on lymphoedema, rehabilitation and genomic testing.
