Zoom in on one of Stacey Jones’ intricate pieces of embroidery and you may find yourself immersed in a tiny-but-expansive universe.
Stacey’s extraordinary textile work has caught the eye of Architectural Digest who describe her artistry as ‘undeniably gorgeous'.
'My amazing husband was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma in 2017 shortly after we got married', writes Stacey. 'I began making embroidery pieces in order to help relieve the anxiety from the situation.'
Stacey ‘explores life through thread’ and draws inspiration from space exploration, the night sky and nature. We're grateful to Stacey for permission to share a selection of her beautiful pieces here.
She donates at least 10% of the price of each piece to Sarcoma UK and is currently running a competition on Instagram where one very lucky winner will get to cherish this piece, Henri II, above. To enter, make a donation of £5 or more to Sarcoma UK and send Stacey a screenshot of the completed donation by 12 June.
