"Chris Martin. An outstanding civil servant, husband, friend. We will never forget you." That's what Zoe Conway tweeted almost a year ago and it was certainly true on the night of 30 November last.

Zoe and Baroness Liz Sugg organised a hugely memorable quiz night in memory of Chris, who was Principal Private Secretary to the then Prime Minister, David Cameron, with the proceeds going to Sarcoma UK. Family, friends and colleagues gathered to take part but also to remember Chris.

The event was compered by Ed Balls (who gave us a little cha cha cha) with high profile quizmasters from the worlds of entertainment, politics and economics.

Over £21,000 was raised from the superb event (with some attendees calling for another next year!)

Sarcoma UK would like to thank the Westminister Kitchen for hosting so generously, compere Ed Balls, the fiendishly clever quizmasters and all who came to support. Profound thanks to Liz and Zoe for putting such energy into making the event such a success.
