Sarcoma UK Researcher
Monday, September 4, 2017

We're currently funding 19 excellent research projects into sarcoma across 12 UK centres. Sarcoma UK are funding these projects to understand more about sarcoma, find new treatments and ultimately identify a cure.

Today we launch our second grant round of 2017 and a further £250,000 investment to help researchers in the UK find the breakthroughs of tomorrow.

We will fund one PhD studentship up to £120,000 and five more research projects under our popular Pilot Grant scheme. Full details on how to apply are now available.

The Sayako Grace Robinson PhD Studentship is a fully funded studentship. You can apply for stipend and fees as well as research expenses up to £120,000.

Our popular Pilot Grant scheme is open again for five research grants up to £25,000. The research projects must develop or expand an idea for future funding in sarcoma basic science.

You can see our previously funded research grants here, alongside our Research Strategy.

Since 2009, we have awarded over £1.5 million in scientific and medical grants to better understand sarcoma.
