In January 2015 Tom’s friends (collectively known as ‘The Bird) decided to shave their head to support their friend through his sarcoma treatment. They raised over £13,000 in a matter of weeks.
From there, his friends family and wider community have gone on to raise awareness and funds through multiple challenges and events.
