While we cannot be together it's yet possible to meet in person next year, SPAEN (Sarcoma Paitents EuroNet Association) are excited to be holding their first virtual Annual Conference. Not even a global pandemic can dampen the commitment to bring together our SPAEN member organisations to improve the lives of people diagnosed with soft tissue sarcomas, bone sarcomas, GIST and desmoids.
The SPAEN conferences have become a great opportunity to learn, share and grow - for patient advocates and experts. During the last years, it became clear that there is a common sense between patient advocates, sarcoma experts and the industry: By working together, research in sarcomas can be conducted more quickly and new treatments can be introduced faster. Irrespective of the their role, all stakeholders are highly committed to playing their part in 'Changing the World' and doing all that they can to achieve our common belief and objective: Together We Can Make A Difference for Those Affected By Sarcomas!
The team at SPAEN want to hear from you. Let them know what topics you'd like to see covered this year. Send your suggestions to email@example.com by 6 December.
Sarcoma Patients EuroNet Association (SPAEN), the international Network of Sarcoma, GIST and Desmoid Patient Advocacy Groups, was founded in April 2009 with the aim of extending information services, patient support and advocacy to patient organisations for the benefit of sarcoma patients across the whole of Europe and internationally. Acting in partnership with clinical experts, scientific researchers, industry and other stakeholders SPAEN is working to improve the treatment and care of sarcoma patients through improving information and support, and by increasing the visibility of sarcoma with policymakers and the public.
