Sarcoma UK offers funds and grants to seek answers and find effective treatment for sarcoma.

Every year Sarcoma UK puts out two calls for research proposals.

This year Sarcoma UK aims to fund £550,000 into sarcoma research projects. This is the charity's biggest ever research investment and an increase from the £500,000 invested in research in 2016.

Round 1: Clinical Research Call

Amount: Up to £250,000
Call opens: 9 January 2017
Deadline: 5pm, 23 March 2017

To support and drive research which affects the experience of patients during their clinical pathway, we are funding a research round focused on clinical research which will benefit patients during their diagnosis, treatment and care. This can relate to any aspect of the clinical pathway, but the research proposed must offer direct benefit to patients.

As part of this, you can apply for the Roger Wilson Research Award in recognition of our founder. This will be an annual call focused on a specific area of research. In 2017 the theme is Early Diagnosis.

This can relate to any aspect of the clinical pathway, but the research proposed must offer direct benefit to patients.

If you would like to access data from our National Patient Experience Survey to support your research, please e-mail research@sarcoma.org.uk
